Intro
Hello and welcome! This is the Stuyvesant Physics Team, home of all those who enjoy physics at Stuyvesant High School.
Who Are We?
The Stuyvesant Physics Team is a hub for all those who wish to study physics at a deeper level than the standard curriculum at Stuyvesant High School. We welcome anyone at any experience level, from freshmen to seniors, and are happy to teach those who wish to learn.
Our Mission
Here, we strive to prepare students for physics contests such as the F=ma, PUPC, PhysicsBowl, USAPhO, and more. We teach at an accelerated pace and cover most topics in fundamental mechanics, as well as a few introductory topics in Electricity and Magnetism (essentially AP Physics C in more depth). Further special topics may be presented. Learn more in our 'About Us' tab.
Our Resources
We use several different textbooks as solid background and theoretical preparation, as well as pre-prepared lecture notes, all available in the 'Resources' tab. We also post fun and interesting reads from miscellaneous papers and books for further reading.
